About


The Answer is a small group of Kamishibas, united by a desire to protect others from the evils committed by Lopdiemis. They aim to do so by researching cures for Lokura and ways to disperse the Haze left behind after a Pure Lopdiemis attack and the mist found in Dysania, as well as providing supplies and protection for those who have suffered from Lopdiemis. They also work to completely destroy all Lopdiemis and their ilk from Aurora Land to permanently protect the residents of Aurora Land. The research department of The Answer and their Leader are not afraid to dip into unethical methods to achieve such a goal and thus The Answer has a mixed reputation around Aurora Land; some may regard them as saviours while others view them as villains.

  • "THE KNIGHT" Right Hand of The Inquisitor, responsible for leading missions to protect vulnerable locations from Lopdiemis attacks and rebuilding settlements destroyed in attacks

        PAGES Page is the term often given to those working under The Knight, they are often Noble individuals skilled in battle or in the healing arts
        RESEARCH ASSISTANT Research Assistants work for the Head of Research and assist him with all experiments. Orders from Head of Research can only be overrode by orders from The Inquisitor

Leader "The Inquisitor"
[Kamishiba] Quin by Arolitic
Quin is the Founder and Leader of The Answer. She once personally oversaw every mission and project that The Answer carried out but since the loss of one of their more ... Ambitious projects, Quin has taken to spending more time in her office, creating plans and orders then handing them off to her appropriate 'Hands' to ensure her orders are carried out. Do not let her more administrative role fool you, Quin is still very much a key force of The Answer, it is only the possible danger that keeps her within the safety of the castle walls.

Right Hand "The Knight"
11 - Castiel by Dreamcatcher-Index
Castiel is a Guardian Angel by nature, seeking out justice for all.  After unpleasant encounters with Lopdiemis as well as other evil creatures, Castiel sought to do something about them. He joined The Answer after witnessing a small group of Pages protecting a vulnerable village from a Lopdiemis, a group he choose to help. Castiel quickly replaced Huckleberry as The Knight. He is in charge of the Pages and protecting vulnerable Kamishiba from Lopdiemis, fighting off Lopdiemis and helping to rebuild after a Lopdiemis attack.

Left Hand "The Shadow"

Amaryllis is a mysterious being. Little is known about the Noctis of The Answer. She commands the Shades and leads missions of stealth and away from the public eyes. Her morals are put on back burner for her missions as she covers many of the tasks others do not. She is often involved in assassinations and kidnappings, careful in her ways as to prevent them being linked to The Answer.

Head of Research
[Kamishiba] Xileon by Arolitic
Xileon is in charge of all experiments carried out by The Answer; both within and outside of the Castle. Xileon's research predominately focuses on creating weapons and poisons capable of destroying Lopdiemis but thus far has not yielded any positive results. He is also tasked with research Lopdiemis in general as well was their affects on Kamishiba's and their development often using himself as a subject for such research being the result of an egg tampered with by a Lopdiemis. As a side project, Xileon also works on improving methods to 'repair' Kamishiba such as himself by developing advanced prosthesis and methods to restore vision and hearing after it has been lost- It should be noted that such research is not entirely noble as it may appear as he is primarily focused on using such research to restore himself after disfiguring himself in his early attempts to remove his sickness.  

Research Assistant
 [S-T Sheet] Stein by Finding-The-Key
Stein works as an assistant to Xileon, often carrying out experiments for him or looking over his research notes and offering his own hypothesis or answers. Often Stein is tasked with minor experiments such as fitting prosthetic limbs that have already been developed and tested or observing the effects of their previous experiments.  Stein treats their experiments with a lot more kindness and care than Xileon but is still too thrilled with their findings to release them or fight against Xileon.

EXPERIMENT NOTES
Experiment 6-402 is a Red Female Kamishiba, Royal Type (Formally; Gravity Type) with two enhanced robotic legs (Material; Gold). 6-402 was brought into the facility by The Inquisitor and was previously a Pit Fighter, set to be destroyed after losing two legs to two separate Lopdiemis. 6-402 has shown great promise in being a useful weapon against Lopdiemis but thus far has refused to co-operate.

IDENTIFICATION CODE: 7-726
LOCATION: STAR DUST'S DOOM
STATUS: CONTROLLED
EXPERIMENT NOTES
Experiment 7-726 is a Blue Male Kamishiba, Elemental Gravity type (Ice Elemental). 7-726 was brought to the facility by the Inquisitor, with unknown previous whereabouts, but likely originates from a mountain village. The abilities of 7-726 were dormant upon arrival, and were awakened under the care of the Lead Scientist. 7-726 has since been trained as a powerful weapon against Lopdiemis, and has shown zeal and dedication towards it. 
7-726 misses a limb, but did not cooperate on getting an enhanced robotic leg, and navigates with a prosthetic made of ice.

2. A Maximum of 4 Kamishiba per person, your secret Santa will choose which one they want to do
3. You MUST include at least one Kamishiba that is simple to draw. Not everyone wants to draw super complex designs, please be considerate!
4. All Kamishiba you enter MUST have a detailed personality section and it must be easily accessible. This means you cannot write a personality section in your comment, it must be in the Kamishiba's profile - this can be in the description of their registry, a toyhou.se profile, etc.
5. Art must be full body and coloured. Background and shading are optional.
6. Literature must be 800 words or more and must be written in English.
